thanks for the advice, went with the official ics 4.0.3
Can someone explain to me why it says in the storage seciton device storage, usb storage, and sd card stroage? but the sd card part is greyed out. thanks

^^yes! like for device storage and usb storage it listed all the apps, pictures, vids, etc etc and how much space it takes. But I dont udnerstand why the sd card is greyed out, and why is there 3 different memory storage? I always thought it was just internal phone and sd.

dunno why it doesnt sort sd card like it does for usb storage. but that never bothered me. i rarely go there anyways.

The 3rd one is Internal Storage.. which is for your system/apps and such...
I believe..
My SD card doesnt even have a bar so I guess is fine..!

Finally updated my phone after 8 months
I decided to go with the resurrection remix ROM and it seems to run really well. Hopefully the battery life isn't too terrible.
Coming from Checkrom V6 I'm really missing JKay Deluxe. I liked being able to add program shortcuts to the dropdown menu and also modifying the power menu to include other functions like Reboot to Recovery, Enable WIFI hotspot, among other things. I see Jkay Deluxe is only for Samsung based ROMs. Anyone know a good substitute for JKay Deluxe? I'm really out of the loop here.

Guys, I've tried both Chainfire's apps and Helroz's unlock app, and they both do not work. Any suggestions?

Been having issues all day after upgrading to ICS from Gingerbread. It was great when I upgraded, then my phone froze and kept rebooting itself over and over. So I decided to do a clean delete and wipe everything out for a factory reset. I have Titanium backed up the files, but now seems like some programs just freeze my phone and it reboots itself....
Not sure why that's happening. I upgraded with official firmware using Kies.

Your only other option is the 15-toggle mod. I think it only work on Samsung roms.

maybe. i did it on rooted gingerbread. do u still have a backup of ur gingerbread rom? revert it, unlock, uograde to 4.0.4 again

I'm late to the Android party. Just got an S2 i9100m a few days ago. Upgrade to Bell ICS via Kies.

can anyone help?
bought an s2 with broken screen few days ago, got it fixed at a shop and now it wont give me any reception..it'll have 1-2 bars then just die and go to "emergency calls only"
it's on ICS, locked to bell..i don't plan on unlocking it or anything

TIA | Are you in an area with poor reception? Sometimes it happens to me when I am in areas of poor reception and goes to emergency calls only.
