Ok so i just saw this review on youtube... I Don't Know Why They Did This Comparison but they did and I thought you guys might enjoy it at least you get to see the SGS2
The guy compared the SGS2 to a Nokia X7 even Nokia users find the X7 to be retarded

I will make one excuse for the the X7 though he had a lot of apps running in the background that are intensive like Maps and games
I can't believe how amazed that guy was whenever the SGS2 beat the X7.
Wow i just found some hidden tricks in the touchwiz UI. Some are a given, others are kinda neat.
Quick Calls & Texts: Once you have the contact you want to call or text in front of you, instead of entering it and then carrying out the operation, you can simply swipe left to place a call or swipe right to enter a text.
Screenshots: Taking screenshots on Android devices is a pain, but on the Galaxy S2, you can simply hit home button and then the power key while holding onto home to take a screenshot. You can then see them in the Gallery.
Brightness Adjust: The notification bar can serve as a brightness scroll on the Galaxy S 2 if you are not using the auto brightness option. Just hit the notification bar, hold for a second and swipe left to decrese and right to increase the brightness. This is one of my favourite tweaks
Browsr Text Wrap: Out of the box the Galaxy S2 doesn’t automatically reflow the text in the webpage if you zoom in. But if you just goto settings and check the ‘auto-fit pages’ option, all is well again.

It depends on what browser you use. I know there are at least 5 or 6 good individual browsers, each with its own unique features and rendering engine. The most popular, besides the stock browser, is Dolphin HD. There is also UC Web, and MiRen, Opera, Puffun, SkyFire, UltraLight, FireFox (beta) and XScope. I really like XScope and Dolphin HD. Probably any of them are better than the default browser, but it depends on personal preferences.
As far as screenshotting goes, yes it is a PITA on non rooted devices. However if you have root (and on most devices it's as easy as downloading an app and clicking "root"), then you can install apps like ShootMe, which will take a screenshot when you shake your phone.
Fucking Rogers. I inquired about the SGSII and a Rogers rep on the Facebook group discussion page says "won't comment on devices that may/may not launch in the future".
Just order it from Clove and use it on Rogers. You won't have to sign a stupid contract either, which is for the better if you decide to switch phones before that, or switch carriers
^dolphin hd doesn't have the same rendering engine and scroll physics as the stock galaxy s 2 browser. I used dolphin hd for all my previous androids because of its tab functionality and speed, but compared to the stock browser, the scroll is choppy and the loading speeds are almost the same. Stock browser scrolls and zooms like butter, even with flash on. Samsung really got it right this time. Only thing i miss is the tabs from dolphin hd.
why not just wait for it to come out this week and buy it out??
They might not allow buyouts. New activations only Posted via RS Mobile
This is true, they will not sell it without a contract or plan activation. One way around this, as was told to me by a Bell employee, is to activate and pay for the cheapest month to month plan ($30) then they will sell you the phone. Then just call Bell the next day and cancel the plan.
You might as well buy it unlocked if that's the case. $599 + $30 + $35 activation fee + tax = $740ish lol. your best bet for low price is scouting on craigslist

What about someone with a Bell account that wants to buy the phone outright?
I would assume activation fees wouldn't apply as there is no new number being set up.
Anyone know any Bell stores or resellers that might have a working demo of the SGS2 when its out?
