I've always said i wanted the GS2 to come to rogers...but i'm just waiting on more news for the droid prime to debunk/confirm the rumours...i am a sucker for real HD screens.

Rumour is that the screen for the droid prime is that they went back to the pentile matrix, making it less sharp

Task managers make your phone run slower and use more battery. Android handles things just fine on its own.

can someone help me? i have a problem with text msging. when someone sends me a text at like 4pm on my phone it will say 1 pm or something like that. so if im texting with someone it will show my msgs at 4pm and theirs at 1pm.

My video call doesnt work. Every time i try using it the call just drops. On bell and also connected to wifi. Thanks

Are actually using something like skype? Otherwise the default video call function doesn't work here.

installed my lite'ning rom and ninphetamine. im unsure of what modem to use any suggestions??

setcpu profiles and undervolted for some awesome battery life

ohh yeah after tons of googleing i found the answer thanks. What do u guys use for video calling? fringe or skype?

and for some reason my phone wont recognize my phone number anymore. Like when i go to status, scroll down to my phone number, it doesnt show.

I haven't found much differences with the modems. I've always just used the latest. I think I'm on KG6 modem now.

For the battery calibration. I say don't bother with it unless you notice a drastic drop in battery life than normal.

yea i dont think ima bother with a modem

and for battery life/drain mines pretty good but ive been using it heavy cuz i just got it =] but when the screen is off im using 1ma and during light use im at about 50-100ma

The switch to LTE is no different than the switch from GSM to HSPA (you'll need a new sim card). So I wouldn't worry about increased costs. Especially since Bellus & Wind are right on their ass competing for the LTE market.

I've downloaded ninphetamine 2.1.3 from here:

What do I need to do after?
plug in your phone to usb the open the external sd and drop the zip in there(do not unzip)

unplug it and reboot into clockwork (hold volume up + home + power)

choose install zip from sd > choose zip >external_sd/ > choose kernal

wehn its done select the reboot

done

im usung these to undervolt

1600 MHz - 1425 mV
1400 MHz - 1250 mV
1200 MHz - 1150 mV
1000 MHz - 1050 mV
800 MHz - 950 mV
500 MHz - 850 mV
200 MHz - 800 mV

and for profile i got
temp>40 800max 200 min priority 100
charging 800max 200 min priority 58
battery<101% 1000max 200min priority 53
battery5% 1600max 200min priority 52
screen off 500max 200 min priority 51
battery<15% 500max 200min priority 50

From what I have been reading, Rogers is coming out with specific LTE plans, I wouldn't expect the $30 6GB deal to just get transfered over into use for LTE.
