I am the third owner of the car and have known all the previous owners myself. I have had the car for over 6 years now and have been driving it almost daily. This has been the most reliable car that I have ever had. I bought it with about 175,000km on it. I own a mechanic shop and I have changed pretty much everything that required attention including timing belt, water pump, thermostat, hoses, bushings, drive shafts, spark plugs, wires, alternator etc.. The clutch was done just before I purchased it and is still going strong. It has had nothing but full synthetic oil changes. Always run on 91 Octane since it has been under my possession. Based on the mileage the car has been driven less than 12,000 km a year and these cars have been known to go well over 350,000 km without much trouble. Passes aircare with flying colours.
Mechanically the car is in really good condition, cosmetically it is not perfect. Drives smooth.
It has had its fair share of door dings and bumps but as far as I can remember nothing over $2000.00 its entire life. Call me and I can fill you in on all the details of the condition of the car. Better still come down and have a look at it.
If you are looking for a good reliable daily driver then this is the car for you. Take care of it as I have and it will outlast your desire to keep it (in my case 6 years). There is no reason why it won’t go strong for another 6 years….
