Wait, NASCAR in Surrey? That would be fucking awesome. Where do I go to voice my support for the idea???

wait so option A is all right turns with ONE left turn, while option B is all left turns with ONE right turn... the course seems... very exciting?

It is NASCAR, after all. Be glad they didn't make it ALL one way. :fullofwin:

You know, all race tracks have 4 turns more one way then the other. The only course than has equal left and right turns is a figure eight or a course with a similar crossover.

Even F1 cars are biased more on one side of the car than the other - it's just not as obvious as NASCAR.

The physics of NASCAR aerodynamics are tuned for closed smooth circuits. I just can't see any public roads would work.

It'd have to be something like Touring Cars. Like the Australian stock car series, for example.

I always thought that huge block of empty overgrown land in Richmond, on alderbridge and garden city would make for a wicked medium sized time attack oriented 10 to 15 car race track a'la Tsukuba, you could definitely fit it

totally agree! but that would drive people who live on garden city and westminster NUTS

I believe that's Native land. Even if it was not, it would never be built there due to its proximity to the residential areas. Sticking a track in the middle of Richmond would never happen in 1000000000 years. The noise would drive you off the wall if lived anywhere near it.

but doesnt the airport already drive people off the wall?? =.= should just borrow some land from YVR... FUUUU
