I need a long (a few feet) steel braided hose with the proper fittings on the ends for my 4runner (doing a 5 speed swap), anyone know where I can get one made locally? thanks

Greenline hose and fittings.
Bring your old hose with you,so they know what ends to use.

I had Greenline make up a custom braided stainless steel hose for my motorcycle. For a 4.5 foot ss shielded hose with 2 metric brake fittings was just under $100. Took 3 days because they have to send it to a 3rd party for crimping and pressure testing.
A friend had a ss braided hose made for a 4runner clutch line from Gregg distributors. A non-shielded line with 2 proper fittings ran him $60 iirc. Did it on the spot but I don't think they pressure tested it. Posted via RS Mobile |

PDM makes them. Don makes his Clutch/Brake lines in house.
Call him with measurements/fitting size.

update.
went to greenline and they couldn't do the hose, they didn't have the right fittings or the right line or something like that. i went to lordco and they can supply 2 long (27" i think) steel braided hoses with a union to join them and 2 adapters to make the end male m10 but i don't like the idea of having so many joints on a hydraulic line but it's the best i'll be able to do since greggs is an hour away from me. we'll see how the lordco hose goes or i'll have to take some time off work to get out to greggs to get a hose made. damn it.

I wouldn't do multiple hoses if there was another option available.
Have you called gregg's and asked if they can make one up and courier it out to you?

^that's what i would do. if you can't go to them, spend the little bit extra for delivery, and do it right the first time.
because if you go the lordco route and end up having to redo the line because it doesn't work or it leaks or something, then you've already spent more than just getting the one from gregg's couriered...
