Please, recommand a good 8 port SATA card.

As my mother board has not enough SATA port for all my Drives.
Mid to High end are all fine.

Please, suggest any brand and model ??

Really appreciate it!!!

Don't really need RAID Config.

Just need to have a lot of HDD in this system.
But my motherboard has not enough SATA ports.

My PCI-E has been used up as well.
1 for Video Card.
1 for my Sound Card.

I guess i can only go for PCI SATA card then.
PCI-E is faster ? or PCI ? or pretty much same ?

All i want is fast transfer rate and stable, good quality.

Any suggestions ?? :-)

You would want a PCIe card...

Maybe a couple of these 4-port ones...

Unless price is not an issue, because pretty much all 8-port cards are higher end stuff that will set you back like $300+.

I really need 8 ports for sure.

10 of 2TB HDD
1 Blu-Ray drive
2 eSATA

Total should be around 13 SATA port....

So, 6 on MotherBoard, 8 on SATA card, total 14 ports
I really don't mind the price.
As long as stable and good quality.
Cuz Data is priceless !!!!

Any suggestion for a good one ??

I'm saying if you have the PCIe slots, you can get two of the 4-port ones instead, because it would be a lot cheaper.

I don't think the quality of the controller is going to affect the reliability of your data... and since you're not using the drives in a RAID configuration, even if the controller dies, it's not a big deal.

But if you're set on wanting an 8-port card, I would suggest going to NewEgg and looking at the user reviews there.

If data was priceless I wouldn't run that many drives without any backup or redundancy. Try 3ware.
