T moulding, floor trasition supplier

Just wondering where to get the best pricing/who contractors use.

I'm just going from laminate to tile, same level, about 2.5" wide.

most places that sell to contractors you can't buy private..besides if your buying like 1 piece honestly not worth all the hassle..just go to rona or home depot

Its not as simple as buying from the same places that contractors buy from.

Supply houses price their products based on the customer, their prices are pretty much the same as any other retail supplier, but they give discounts to contractors based on their past purchases. For example, I automatically get a 40% discount off anything I buy at Winroc.

Just go to windsor plywood.

+1, agreed they are based on the customer.

I'd go to Windsor Plywood or Nucasa (formerly Finishing Touch).

My friend works at BuildDirect.com, they are a local company, they may be able to help you out.

I guess you like paying full retail when you buy car parts.

RenoMan 04-12-2011 08:59 AM

Where ever you got your laminates you should ve gotten your transitions and thresholds with it and if you were smart you wouldve gotten a deal with your laminates. Plus laminates threholds and transitions suck., sooner later the traffic causes the first layer to chip. All wood is the way to go and you can stain them. A few ft or less don't expect to get discount crazy . Go up and down Richmond and surrey your better of doing that. How else did you think a contractor makes money?? Just telling you the truth .

I did end up getting solid wood and staining them. And I used a contractors discount.
