1992 Camry Driver Side Window Problem (Yet Again) I've already posted this question on ToyotaNation but I thought I would post it here too to see if there are any other ideas or suggestions. I drive a 1992 Camry and it seems like I have to change the driver side regular/motor once every year (I'm a smoker so I roll down my windows a lot - I know, bad habit and a good reason for me to stop smoking while driving). I was wondering if this is normal? Would a bent track cause this or something else cause this? I know there are a lot of threads about this problem but I'm just wondering what could cause this and why am I changing it once per year? Thanks in advance. |
Are you sure it's not the installation job? Did you replace with used parts? Using the windows a lot shouldn't really wear on the parts that quickly. I can only think of sub par jobber parts and used parts failing you. The installation is pretty straight forward and shouldn't lead to problems. |
