T-mobile.
I believe it's $1 or $2 of unlimited data per day.

AT&T does as well. If I remember it was $10 for 100MB?
Apparently not provisioned correctly for iPhone (at least that's what the AT&T rep told me) so unless you got money to burn, I probably wouldn't try it with an iPhone.
EDIT: Correction - it's $19.99 for 100MB ( http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-pho...questid=462807)
BTW, wouldn't TMo's 3G be on AWS? You'd need an unlocked Wind or Mobilcity phone for that, no?

It depends on where are you planning to use your data. Only at night to surf the web / catch up with FB / RS? Or would you prefer the data on the go?
Your hotel/resort doesn't offer free internet?

Another option you might want to check out is Boingo especially if your hotel has one of their hot spots. You can check for hot spots on their page. Posted via RS Mobile |

If you use T-mobile with an iPhone, from what I've gathered, it will only be able to use EDGE, no 3G.

Would be painfully slow though. Your Rogers/Fido unlocked phone would probably be best served using AT&T if you plan to use data.
AT&T offers free SIM card but you have to fill it up with a minimum of $25 when you purchase your SIM. Something you might want to consider if you only want to use it for one or two days. Their voice plans are pretty decent though - $2 daily nationwide unlimited.

Where do you buy these AT&T SIM cards? I'm kind of in the same boat, except I'm looking more towards a voice/text service when I'm in the US.

Yeah, I'm assuming you can't just swing into their local walmart phone section to get the sim?

EDIT: If you're feeling lazy and don't want to make the drive, I know eBay has them for sale too. Would work if you're not in a rush. Quote:

(obviously only in the US) If you're calling outside of US (like to Canada), I'd suggest getting a calling card for voice calls and have it programmed to automatically recognize your number. That way, the call will be "local" to the US and you can call Canada for relatively cheap depending on what your calling card rate is.

I know my phone is rooted (X10), but unlocked, I'm not sure of.

Anyways, yes, that's what you need. $60 might be a bit much unless you want to use a ton of data. The credits do expire after 90 days on any refill above $25. Any refill under $25 is good for 30 days.
