looks like the stand which the original wheel sits on in the test is more bouncy that that of the imitation wheel. probably helped a lot with absorbing the force of the impact lol.

I think they're using the same stand and it's just two different videos of the same process put side to side. The reason is bouncier is probably because the real ones are stiffer and instead of cracking/absorbing the weight it bounces off

The imitation wheel cracked which probably soaked up some of the energy from the hit Posted via RS Mobile
Does imitation wheels make a difference in driving compare to real ones?
For regular everyday driving, I am yet to hear of a case where someone had a problem with their fake wheels. I've only seen pics of cracked wheels online from people who race (auto-x). Posted via RS Mobile
thanks for vid, man what kind of accent is that, so annoyingly hard to nail down, sounds like a Filipino American most of the time, but at other times sounds like a Russian American, or some other eastern european country.
as far as real vs fake the pros and cons are the obvious ones we've all seen and heard of, there is positives and negatives in both because it always depends on the buyer and his hers specific needs.
i've gone both ways with replicas at first and authentic later, have no regrets with either, they both served the purpose i wanted them to serve. I have to note that you have to know the limitations of your product, i would have never tracked my car with replicas, but now with authentic i wouldnt think twice about going and doing it because i know the quality is there.
lol, little shot at the replica there at 2:58, they show the "made in taiwan" stamp right next to the cracks

You'll have bigger worries than a bent wheel with an impact like that

the word you are looking for is ductility, the real one has WAY better metals that have been properly tempered...
while the knock off is just brittle as hell so of course hard impact brittle metal = crack

It's a Japanese accent, someone who's been trained to speak in a north american style, but still doesn't have the ability to push through the nasal sounds--so it sounds kind of like he has a cold.

can be very danger if you hit a unforeseen pothole at a high rate of speed

pretty good video. Never knew the authentic rims have such a big rebound force. the replica rims absorbed all the shock.

Did any of you think that maybe the bounce was because the rubber was possibly in contact with the bottom surface .. and in the real wheel it didnt break so the rubber stayed inflated and gave it a bit of a bounce, whereas the fake wheel gave way and deflated the tire and made it so metal was contacting on metal?
Invisible sky daddies commanding people to do shit is just so beyond retarded, I feel like punching myself in the balls until I shit my computer chair.
