Best shop for fender rolling + pulling

It seems as though I need some intense pulling in the rear fenders. Where do you guys recommend that does the BEST job around Vancouver? Hellaflushed guys chim in? From the looks of it, it seems like the fenders needs 8-10mm of pulling in order to accommodate the tires.

jpark 03-11-2011 10:27 AM

i heard nothing but postive feedback about Gerrard - serial nine

G-spec 03-11-2011 10:27 AM

my car is currently at Speed Syndicate Jacky, they are pulling and doing a bit of welding on my rear fenders, car will be done later today will be picking it up.

take my advice buddy and just go straight to them, i went to a few of the well known local shops even experts in fender work they all told me it couldn't be done without fcking up my fenders then having to get them repainted completely.... i spent a month literally looking for someone to do the work until i gave up but luckily dropped by SS down the street from me

they're basically doing something that no shop I went to said could be done, saving my butt in the process !

jpark yea buddy I went to Gerrard he's the best around it's why I went to him first, but unfortunately he couldn't touch my fenders because they were cut, i had to get some welding done and SS has the welding machines. So if Jacky needs something more than a simple pull I would just simply recommend SS

not my car below will have it back later today, but this is the type of pull I went for, nice and clean retaining the body lines

Hey G! This is exactly the kind of advice I need to hear, as you have fit some serious rims and tires in your fenders. It seems like I have over over estimated the amount of offset I can run. Hah. Speed Syndicate eh? I will be sure to give them a call. I just want my fenders to look as good as possible, hopefully without too much distortion on the fender after the pull.

Please post pictures of the fender job after you pick it up today so I can check out your car and their work. :)

edit: After i saw your updated post, you make my fender situation looks like child's play LOL.

G-spec 03-11-2011 10:35 AM

^ ya sorry i edited to add a bit more info and pictures, will post some pictures of their work later on today when I pick my car up in the afternoon

Here is how it looks like now. Jason at Dales told me that I am almost topping out with the H&R, they ride surprisingly low, so it would be ideal if he can adjust to go a quarter of an inch lower. He also maxed out the camber in the rear at -3.25 degree, so after all is said and done, I would like to go back to -2.5, over -3 degree seems a little excessive, even from performance stand point.

^ damn son, you on crutches?

ree666 03-11-2011 12:08 PM

nice pajamas jacky

G-spec 03-11-2011 12:44 PM

price varies s300, depends on what you want done you would have to get in touch with them for an accurate price on what you need, whether it's a simple roll, or a pull even welding, it all depends, give them a shout

Jacky yea looks like you definitely need a roll and a mild pull nothing to excessive should give you close to 10mm of clearance for your tires to tuck in.

Glove 03-11-2011 12:53 PM

they quoted me 400 bucks to roll my integra,

thats steep as hell for 2 hours of work,

also no warranty against paint cracking

s300ae 03-11-2011 12:57 PM

That is pretty expensive. I'd say 50-75 max a fender is legit.
I already rolled mine myself, now got wider wheels, I might have to just roll more myself.

$400 for all 4 corners? Back in the day that was an average price.

And no one will give a guarentee paint won't crack because it will. If not visible cracks, then it will crack on the inside. Just a reason why you spray primer/undercoat on the inside after you roll your fenders.

Pulling work is more expensive yet it's funny how you can pull a fender yet not have to repaint. I thought pulling a fender was cutting and welding in new pieces to pull the fender out.

Not like metal just stretches. :fullofwin:

Anyway I like Evo Garage does fender work. Not sure about anything anymore but I know they did about 4 years ago. They did some nice work too.

Glove 03-11-2011 01:12 PM

ya im also gonna try and roll them myself,

im not giving a shop 200 dollars an hour and not have a warranty.

PaulWALKER 03-11-2011 01:14 PM

^^ you gotta pay to play, GL rolling them yourself;)

Glove 03-11-2011 01:22 PM

200 an hour isnt paying to play,

its stealing

My friend had his fenders rolled at RISE...no complaints...wasn't expensive either IIRC

I got my fenders done at Cosmos Autobody, one of the bodymen there named Chris Lumin really put his effort into my car, also did bmiranda23's black wrx, I'm sure hes done more but his work was amazing. I'm flush/poked and really happy with his work.

6042513191. Their shop is located on Clark Dr and a block north of Veneables.

daval 03-12-2011 12:49 AM

Yah Chris is very good and reasonable price.
