anyone ever use Bodybuilding Supplements & Discount Supplements for Weightlifting ??? |
Picked up PhD Wired today since I ran out of Assault about a month ago. I wonder how it compares? Assault worked fairly well for me. Can't wait to try the Wired, though. |
so I read the whole thread here and still not quite sure.. what is better to take? ON amino energy or just BCAA? Or the assault with BCAA? Or ON amino energy with BCAA? I'm currently taking omega 3-6-9 which i'm planning on switching to omega 3 and ON multivitamins, ON cassein daily, ON whey as post workout.. |
Depends on your goals. Most likely you should just take the 'basics' I posted before in this thread. Since you read the whole thread, you know where that post is ;) |

I take cassein because i mix it with fruits in the morning since whey is fast absorbing... my goal is just to be fit and not bulk since i already weight quite a bit (180 pounds ish). I do workout regularly about 3 times a week with 2hrs each workout... so if i were to take something more daily, bcaa and amino energy seems to be a better option than assault? I am thinking about taking some mass gainer, does the extra calories and other stuff they put in really help gain mass? or should i just stick to whey isolate protein and eat 5'8 140lbs here :alone: |

I prefer taking creatine post workout, as it can dehydrate you a bit. Normall ythis isn't a big deal but in addition to stims, that is quite a bit of dehydration. Nothing that says you can't do it though :) |
but when you workout, won't u be drinking plenty of water anyways? Because I thought the whole point of creatine was to give you enough ATP for that extra rep or two. But how do you take your creatine skinnypupp? do you mix it in with your protein shake or do you take it individually? Also, when exactly is the best time of the day to take creatine? I don't want the creatine to end up being secreted into my urine and end up wasting money |
I use to take creatine post workout with my protein shake but changed it up lately. Been taking it morning with gatorade or whatever sweet drink I can find on hand. Have felt no difference in the gym, still killing it everyday |
