casein (slow absorbing) vs whey (fast abosrbing) aside, do you think having a protein shake before bed is good?

Since you're from Surrey as well, I go to Reflex (along 76 and King George). The store owner is a chill guy, will help you out if you have questions.

CLA is a waste of money in terms of fat loss IMO

Been hearing good things from trustworthy sources about raspberry ketones, another non stim. Haven't tried it myself though

Raspberry ketone increases both lipolysis and fat... [Planta Med. 2010] - PubMed - NCBI

Anti-obese action of raspberry ketone. [Life Sci. 2005] - PubMed - NCBI

i'm currently using Kazein whey protien post workout, and each scoop contains 35g protien, 1g carbs, 150 cals.

post workout i've been taking 2 scoops in my shake, which is 70g of protein.

is that too much? i've been reading the body can only absorb so much protein in one sitting, etc.

your body can only absorb aprox. 25gr of protein a serving.....IIRC.

Did another bb.com order today. All the basics - Essential Amino, Universal Atomic 7, 5-HTP, some Monster Milk (buy 2 get 1 free whoo!). Also going to give Raspberry Ketones a try since it's cheap.

Looking for a place to get some protein powder. Whey gold standard. I dont really know the prices but would $128 be a reasonable price for 10lb?

If you're talking about Optimum Nutrition I suggest you find a different brand. There's so many other great options on the market and cheaper than what you would pay for ON.

The "standard" price for whey should be $10/lb

i guess i was just looking for extra calrois and carbs.

right now i eat little to no carbs, and take a low cal/low carb whey protein (kazein from costco).

i eat a lot of veggies/chicken/eggs/fish, but am having trouble gaining mass.

i figured a weight gainer before and after my workout would give me the carbs i dont get from my low carb eating habits.
