so i got alpha brain today took first pill right around noon, didnt feel much. took the second pill about an hour ago and i can feel the effect. i feel more awake, more alert, and it feels like my senses are a lil more sensitive.. loud, sudden sounds seem to catch my attention. i also feel a little bit of a head rush.. not too sure how i'll feel tonight but so far seems like a waste of money. today was day 1 so hopefully i get a better result in the next week

I just started working out consistently 2 weeks ago. I usually go to the gym at least 5 times a week working on different body parts each time. Im very new to the supplements; so far I bought Iso-100 and have been taking those as post -workout and just today i picked up a tub of magnum serum accelerated for pre-workout. Anything else that you guys would suggest?

Going to make an order soon, and was wondering if getting Glutamine and BCAA's is recommended or a waste? I'm already taking ON Protein which contains 5.5g BCAA and 4g glutamine.

looking at the recommended dosages for BCAA's, which is roughly 15-20g for an average sized male, you'd probably get half of it from your 2-3protein scoops per day and then the rest from solid foods

It really isn't necessary at all unless you're engaging in super vigorous exercise that would significantly hinder muscle gains - which you shouldn't be doing anyway if you're trying to build lean muscle

anybody have any experience with Beef protein? I was thinking about trying Carnivor for a while, because I read somewhere that your body eventually gets "used" to the whey protein and its good to change it up every now and then. TIA

BCAA's are good if you train fasted or do intermitten fasting. consuming them holds no calories because the are already broken down.

just buy bulk aminos throw it in your drink while you work out

First thing I'd do is knock off that other stuff. For the first few weeks honestly I would just do a multi vitamin and lots of protein. I've lost track of all the people I know who go to the gym for two weeks, love it, and by the end of the third week they just stop going. So instead of wasting your money on stuff you'll just piss out, focus on proper workouts and diet. Make it past the 6 week marker until you start getting addicted to the gym.

Don't start using all the pre workout shit if you're just beginning too. Your body will become addicted to it somewhat; you'll feel underpowered and without stamina if you don't use it one day. It's a bad habit to get in to. Save your pre workout powders for when you are tired one day, or don't feel very motivated. It can be just enough to help you push through and have a great session.

I've been going 4-5 times a week for the last 6 months. I use a multi, vitamin c, fish oil blend, raspberry ketone, caffeine, green tea extract, whey isolate protein, more recently bcaa & creatine
