I have 15% on my rears.

Szeto 03-28-2011 09:16 PM

i did 5% rear 50% front

Depends what you are looking for.

Because it is a sedan, having 35% will look fairly light because of all the windows, but when it gets darker outside, it tends to look darker as opposed to having 15-5% in the back which keeps everything fairly dark regardless if it is sunny or not.

Personally, i don't like dark tint, so i got 50% all around. Very subtle look. (i drive a 4dr car as well)

5% rear is good :)

Gratz on the TSX. Looks like USA spec? I've had 3 1G TSXs and enjoyed every single one. I'd get just the back 3 done. Looks fine.

35% front and 15% rear , if i remeber correctly

on a white car ... showed good contrast !! but i felt pretty insecure when the front tint was removed :(

Roach 03-30-2011 03:12 PM

50% Rears. It was dark enough IMO.

I am thinking about doing 15% rears and 50% front now.. Had 5% on the rear hatch of my old car and loved it, but have a coupe now and 15% should be good for the back 3 windows.

RRxtar 03-30-2011 05:45 PM

I have and would recommend 15% rear and 45% front.

I would never get darker than 15% again

Timewav3zer0 03-30-2011 06:09 PM

i have 35% in the back and 75% in the fronts

Your from Ktown right? Cops hassle you there for the fronts? I am gonna be in Vernon/Pen this summer alot and it would be nice to get some shade from the heat down there but am kinda sketch on cops

I had 50% front and 5% rears on my 200sx from 2001 till April 5 2011 and had zero issues. But I have to say that after 5yrs the tint degraded to the point where the fronts were probably around 70-80% and the rears around 30-35%. but when it was fresh man the back windows at night were a pain in the ass to look out off.
My car also had a moderately loud exhaust, not lowered but it was bright red too.

The interior was a dark grey and black so from a 3/4 front angle the front tints looked tinted but once you got a full side view couldn't really tell anymore. But again that is after 5yrs or so.
