| OpenRoad Richmond Auto Body
Has anyone got they're car repaired from there before? And would you recommend that shop or if you know someplace better? |

Go for it. Excellent quality.
My only complaint about this body shop would be the ugly Hyundai Accent it gave me.... (they even gave the next customer after me a Smart car..)
Do a search. There's many threads out there that mention about OpenRoad Richmond AutoBody's quality.

Yup, quality of repairs is really good. And in case you're not satisfied, they will work with you to make sure you are.

openroad is a big auto group so they have a name to uphold. they do good work (i used to work at openroad hyundai so i'd be at openroad autobody quite a bit) and i've seen their quality of work
as far as pricing goes, it's gonna be more expensive then most other places. but you get what you pay for

Just got my car back today. They did an awesome job and washed, claybar and waxed my car. Also on top of that the repair comes with a lifetime guarantee!!! Totally recommended!!

if RAB says they claybarred and waxed your car they did it.. plus you can feel the differnce...
ps RAB doesnt have accents and smart cars as loner cars, you must be thinking of a differnt shop.

They are the only Audi Certified repair shop in Western Canada I do believe. That place is like a factory. I subbed in for the painter last year for a week and it's one of the nicest shops I've ever worked at.

There body work is repair is good, but they are extremely sloppy when putting the car back together.
-did not install my coolant reservoir back properly, it was sitting off it's hinges
-did not plug in the cooland level sensor, as soon as I started the car the coolant level warning went off
-left the stock spare wheels tools just sitting open in my trunk after I presume they used it to remove wheels for repair.
-somehow managed to pop a fuse out for my passenger side electronic seat and just leave it in plain sight on the footwell carpet. Obviously the power seats didn't work, had to do my own detective work and remove the kickpanel and reinsert the fuse
Would I go back? Probably not, only went there cuz they were the only Audi accredited body shop.
