Hate to say it but the fifth time might be a body bag or killing some innocent person. We've seen this type of bs play out before and it never ends good. And I highly doubt a fine and paying an impound fee for 7 days is going to deter these douchebags from racing again. |
I thought his plates were "333" and he had a completely matte-black car, not everything but the hood. |

So what exactly happened at the meet? |
^ IIRC he was revving it in/outside the parking lot at Adesa. Oh yeah, that and he was doing donuts. |
^and driving over speed limit |
Spotted you on the TV. Well played dude.... Posted via RS Mobile |
Bad move for Matt IMO, by blaming the other cars doing 200+ easily and then admitting that you were speeding also. Is anyone going to believe that you and ur buddies were just doing a bit over the speed limit? Not saying it didn't happen, cause none of us were there so not going to jump to conclusions. Just a bit hard to believe Posted via RS Mobile |

i guess RS's tolerance for dipshit drivers is higher now. i mean larry chu got banned after one incident, this guy has had several and is still allowed on here and at meets. what gives? i mean, at this point, i'd take larry chu and his spoon caliper covers over this idiot and his daddy sponsored car and let me say that although it may sound like i have a personal vendetta against him, i don't. i just have a problem with people making our streets any more unsafe than they already are - and that seems like the goal that this kid and his "cool crew" have going on |
Banning him from a forum won't keep him off the streets. I dont know what happened with this "Larry Chu" but I bet u after his ban from here he still drives the same Posted via RS Mobile |
Imagine if he had a "Revscene.net" sticker anywhere on his car. Kev |
|
@kev, i was thinking that too. thank god he didn't @SV, while you're probably right, at least he won't be able to associate himself with RS anymore |

and the limit there is what, 60? we were all doing 80 on a dead stretch of a highway. would a police officer have pulled us all over and impounded our cars for 7 days and given us all tickets for driving without due care? if you're going to attempt to call me out, please include all the facts at hand, not little tidbits. and please don't associate me with somebody who revs his car in the parking lot of a highschool, does donuts in parking lots, and gets his car impounded for doing allegedly 200 km/h during rush hour traffic |

I was driving the same speed, I never denied that. We were all driving at unsafe speeds on a curvy road. Difference is that I'm not pointing my finger at other members telling them they are unsafe drivers. Yes, all of the cars on our cruise could have been impounded, so how are we so much better than these guys that got busted? Im not calling you out, Im calling out all the hypocrites on this board who drive recklessly then scold others when they get caught, some of you are even personal friends of mine. I think it all comes down to jealousy; some of you guys just can't stand the fact that these kids get supercars given to them for free and are living the life you all dream about every day. It makes you happy to see them suffer a little bit. Get real RS, if the 13 cars weren't exotics driven by rich kids then these threads would be half the size they are now. Go live your lives, stop bitching about what other people have. |

the jealousy rebuttal is getting a bit old. it has nothing to do with jealousy from half the people who are even saying anything. however, it has everything to do with a group of kids who have been previously spotted driving like complete idiots virtually everytime they've been seen, and finally getting nailed for it i'm willing to wager that if a news story came up about larry chu getting his car impounded came up, people would be all over it too. why, are they jealous of his s2k? nope. it has nothing to do with people being jealous and everything to do with people being happy to see consequences come to those who deserve them |
20km/h over speed limit won't get you impounded. 40km/h+ over speed limit will. |
hmm, I disagree. There were some members doing some pretty stupid stuff man.. Anyway, I dont mean to call you out personally, I'm just expressing how I feel about the issue. For some, you may genuinely feel offended by the actions of Mattzhang and the other exotics..and if that is the case then cudos to you for expressing your beliefs. However, some of you are driven by pure jealously...it's really a form of hate, and its so prevalent on this board. |
my opinion Banning a person on the forums is super easy. Click of a button and he's gone..but would we really want that? honestly, we'd have nothing to talk and read about. I personally am interested in hearing more aside from that "small correction" to the news reporter. What's the explanation this time? The time he said it was his friend driving his r8 wrecklessly at the end of the summer meet, I thought: "Fine.. we give you the benefit of the doubt. After all, he apologized, he admitted fault, fine.. we've all had our share of foolish mistakes". But this time?? damn. Is he jailed? if not, he should be. Coz that would scare the daylights out of him. Spend the night there in a jail cell. It'll scare any rich boy straight. It'll scare the daddy straight too. And by no means am I an angel myself. I've had my fair share of stupid shit. But if I had so many chances and close calls and I still don't get "the message", shit.. someone needs to slap some sense into me. |
i think its safe to say we've found our new "Freddie" |
