Stage for the f01/f02 7 is 502hp, 580ft/lbs but I haven't had a chance to dyno my car. I've read that stage 1 for the 7 is a complete waste and i've read some owners with stage 2 complaining about their dyno's.

THAT TORQUE!:sweetjesus:

A buddy of mine back in Toronto has an F10 550xi Dinan S2. Last time he went to a drag-strip he ran 13.00@113 and 12.7@110, which is close to par with a stock E60 M5 (I used to have one and the best I managed was 12.6@115-116)... I find it funny though that the Audi S8 that you posted in the other thread ran 11.8@119. I just can't believe it seeing that F10 M5 runs 11.9-12.0@120. No way its that fast... Maybe a press car?

DjMZ 10-28-2012 09:22 PM

The new STOCK S6's run a 0 - 60 in under 3.7 seconds... WTF...

I was watching another review on youtube for the S8 and the guy testingcould only hit 4.5secs with the S8 so makes you wonder what the actual real world numbers are. I usually look at owners who take their cars out to the track to gauge actual real life performance numbers.

The 5.8L Stroker is at 620 hp...

I had my car dynoed in Toronto @ 475 rwhp and 370 rwtrq... Not a lot of gains for the amount of $$$ invested, but my goal was to make the convertible just as fast or slightly faster then the coupe (to make up for the 450 lbs weight difference between the two).

V10 NA powerrr :concentrate: I'll be happy if I can even hit close to 490hp crank NA...

All the torque in the world means very little when you have 1 wheel drive (no lsd, electronic ones don't count)

On paper, most M cards don't sound impressive, but it is how M cars lay down the power.....

I'm pretty sure JD has a 750i with xdrive? AWD and that power will catapult that thing off the line.

I agree with you though re LSD. I had a CLS63 (6.2L) without the PP so it had no LSD and I hated it.

You know how hard it is to launch anything with an S85 engine (you have an E60 M5) and these cars have an LSD.:fullofwin:

Z3guy 10-29-2012 11:10 AM

^ I have an Audi A4 w/ quattro as well, unbelievable traction in all situations, but it is just boring to drive compared to rear wheel with a lsd. Looking forward to driving a F10 M5 with the Electronic controlled LSD. Supposely the diff on the F10 M5 makes a huge difference.

I want to wait for the F12 M6 to depreciate and I might pick one up..:fullofwin:

Z3guy 10-29-2012 11:17 AM

^ If the F12 M6 wasn't so freaking big, I would like to get one as well when they depreciate 25% to 33%....but with a family, I will probably get a F10 M5 as a DD......just don't really like the direction M cars are going.......they need to launch the CSL line to compete with AMG Blk Series cars.......

All y'all, have way too much money. /jelly
