i have a 2000 civic dx and the brakes need replacing how much can i expect to pay?

If they're drums, shoes and springs are maybe $70-$80 plus an hour of labour. Start adding more if you need new drums and/or wheels cylinders.

Rough and dirty, under $200 if it's just a basic job.
