So this guy's Audi needs a small detail job... "First I want to thank DJ Mayo, David Fermani, and Barry Theal for their ideas and thoughts on this detail. I got an email from the owner and said his Audi had some mold. I have done some light mold work before and wasn't too worried about it I decided to go check out the car to put together a more exact estimate. This Audi had a leak coming from the firewall, causing the drivers side floor to be soaked. It was put away in a garage for about 4 months or so for the winter. So what does 4 months of wet car interior look like..." Spoiler! More pictures in the link below: http://www.autopia.org/forum/pro-det...-detailed.html |
Jungle edition. |
Just saw it on Jalopnik too. It's everywhere haha... http://jalopnik.com/#!5790239/this-m...e-water-damage http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=766671 http://ca.gizmodo.com/5790369/this-m...e-water-damage Props to the detailer, that's quite some dedication he had there. |
holy shit |
it was on detailingbliss from the guy himself too |
Professional detailer is professional. |
had a car like that come into a detail place i used to work at here in vic. girl that did the work made it look brand new. she is champ |
Quite a famous car. There is also another one of what I believe is to be an E30 325i convertible which suffered the same fate. Bio-hazard much? :lol |
Just imagine all the mold INSIDE the vents and cracks of the interior... |
that sh!t is toxic, dont breathe it |
Holy shit... Wouldn't the mold be inside the door panels too n shit like that? |
apparantly the detailer charged less than $1500? jesus. |
damn wtf |
LOL at the bottle of hand sanitizer attached to the shifter.... What upsetting is the car will probably be sold to some unsuspecting buyer who will likely contract some sort of illness from the remaining mold spores. |
Holy shit that's nasty  |

omfg... i would just buy a new car... and i thought my car was bad.. gooooddddaaaayyyymmmm..... |
oh god. kill it with fire! |
2002 Audi AllMold for sale. I would have probably pushed that thing off a cliff or set it on fire. Nobody should ever have to sit in a previously mold infested car, especially if it hasn't been cleaned properly. By not removing the panels or the upholstery/leather mold could still be lurking and will probably end up getting the next owner sick. Lets hope the owner isn't listing this thing on Craigslist as we speak. |
Where's this car located? I can only see this happening in extremely humid climate. |
haha id still be creeped out to sit back in that car... nasty shit |
Spores will never go away! |
must of smelt good |
