Men Dry Skin

I have dry skin on my face after I shower. Can you guys recommend a good moisturizer that work well on men's face?

Im currently using Vinchy Homme. That thing is expensive and doesnt work very well.

I just bought some Clinique for Men stuff from the Bay.
Its $30 a bottle, on promo for $25 its fairly pricey for the amount, but its fragrance free, allergy tested and does a good job. I have really dry skin, so i get the oily type (not a white cream, more of a yellow tint), and it works really well. Its a fairly small tube, but lasts me about a year. All you need is a small dab because its so concentrated.

Me too. I get really dry skin under my chin and up around the bottom of my skin. Especially around the lip area. Same thing happens after I shave and sometimes I something like a dry rash that stings with a red blotch. Normally I already have really dry skin on legs or arm, but the face gets really dry easily.

Any moisturizers that don't have a smell, and most importantly, no oily texture. I hate the oily texture and it stresses me out more.

ive had pretty good experience with clinique regular line (not men's)

you can pick it up from sephora and try it out. i believe they honor their return policy pretty well; if you dont like the item, if it makes you break out, or even if you dont like the scent/cant get used to it...anything like that, you can return/exchange it.

Make sure you aren't using soap to wash your face. Use an actual face cleanser. Something like Spectro Derm or similar. The standard containers are about $10 and last months for a single person.

Any moisturizer/lotion after can do, but if you don't want a heavy feel then you will want one specifically for your face. Try something from Neutrogena for Men. They have a few that are light, "all day" (i.e. don't need to reapply often) and some even contain a mild SPF (30) protection. You only need to use a bit. Just walk into London Drugs or Shoppers under the men's shaving/moisturizing aisle. The tubes are small, relatively cheap and last for months as well.

You should apply the moisturizer immediately after or within a few minutes of drying your face after wash.

I had a severe case of windburn this winter and started using Nivea Soft after using coconut oil for a little while. My face feels great and will be looking for something similar this summer with SPF rating.

http://www.en.nivea.ca/products/NIVEA-Soft. I think it may be marketed for women but its fragrance free and cheap.

Look for a creme instead of a lotion as lotions seem to have more water.

Went to Shoppers today to get some smokes and went to check out the beauty isle for the Vichy cream. Then I couldn't find it, so a girl at the counter recommended me this:

Haven't tried it yet, but on first feel with the hands, its a gel like substance and very wet, almost like water. No oil, no odour (although a tiny tiny bit if you literally shove your nose close to smell it). Going to try it later. I'll let you guys know

I tried Wal-Mart on the way home. Going to London Drugs and Shoppers later tonight (as suggested). I'll let you know if I find any.

So I tried it today for about 5 hours. Used it before dinner after I had a long day at work. I washed my face with Biore (4 in 1) first- the one with natural ingredients in a green bottle, then applied it all throughout my face. It was pretty smooth afterwards, like I just applied cream.

There was a faint smell of cologne also, probably from the (for men) purpose, I liked that. After 5 hours of dinner and out, it's still smooth as of now. No feeling of oilyness as well.

That bottle costed me $28 (before tax) at Richmond Centre Shoppers and its a 75ml bottle. I used about 2 dabs for my whole entire face and I guess you don't need as much since the gel is really watery.

On the side note, since is has XY HOMME on it and no real distinction to say its a hydrating cream, just like XY brand, my dad thought I had just bought myself some lubricant when I left it in the open on my computer table. He asked "What's this for? You put it on your penis don't you?" (in chinese). I lol'ed and said its just cream for my face. Just thought I would like to share
