Another Car got broken into

at Kingsway's scotiabank back parking. Was doing something at the insurance place near there. Not even parked for 5 minutes. Passenger side window smashed. Took my Guess jacket and Coach sunglasses. Ironically didn't steal the GPS even though went through my glove box and the other compartments.

Went to Speedy after, had to pay $300 out of my own pocket to replace the window.

Thank you ICBC for stealing more money off victims.

I guess I should be a car thief too since they ran away laughing.

Please look out on craigslist for Black Guess winter jacket with maroon linings on the inside. And Coach sunglasses as well.

You're blaming ICBC for robbing you when clearly it was the thiefs fault? I'm assuming you left the valuables in plain sight considering they went through your passenger window. I feel sorry for you and all but I think the blame game is suspect here.

We should make an auto-theft thread to see where people are getting broken into and assemble you know who if there's a trend

My friend's car was broken into last saturday at Garden City Hotpot in Richmond. Probably some junkies or drunk kids because all they took were her mom's flats and lunch bag.

*SIGH*

Vancouver thieves seem pretty desperate now.

Even if you leave a pack of cigs people will break in and steal them.

That is why I left Van, I was sick and tired of the vandals and thieves. Here in Kelowna, nothing never happens...

You're angry and all at what happened to you but when you speak without putting any thought into what your saying you look like an idiot. That 300 deductible is for people NOT to make false claims, otherwise EVERYONE would be making claims all day. Policy only works if its applied throughout and not selectively regardless if your situation was legit.

I don't even bother locking my doors anymore. I have a super large bait car sticker on my dash. If I ever do have valuable , I keep them in my trunk which has a separate lock.
