im really thinking that the production model will be more in line with the ft86-II concept than the more elegant and agressive scion concept. btw, that spoiler looks really ugly.
I was really hoping for it to be like the first concept. But these sets of spy shots look decent. I'm not liking the rear so much but we will have to see it unwrapped.

Yea and also as I would have guessed they will shrink the lights down to a more "operable" size. Tailights would be better if they were longer and thinner almost like the concept to fit the overall dimension of the car.
thing is, the latest FR-S concept was a fiveaxxis creation (much like those concepts back then with tC iQ etc) that it was impossible that the production version would have looked like the latest version.
By the looks of the camo'd cars I'd say it'll still look largely like the original FT-86 concept aka the GT5 video shape:

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that Subaru's new rear-wheel drive sports car, which is currently under joint development with Toyota Motor Corporation, will be named "SUBARU BRZ". "BRZ" stands for "Boxer engine", "Rear-wheel drive" and "Zenith" and embodies ultimate passion for the new sports car and confidence in its distinctive trademark and core technology: the "Horizontally-Opposed Subaru Boxer engine". The start of production is planned for spring 2012.
FHI will exhibit the technology concept of the "SUBARU BRZ", named "SUBARU BRZ PROLOGUE - BOXER Sports Car Architecture II - ", at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011. (Press day: September 13 and 14; Open to the public from September 15 through 25, 2011)
