Seems like there's been another leak: Toyota FT-86: This is it?
Tail's a bit ugly imo. But I'd probably still end up buying it!

The rear looks pretty bad but a simple blacking housing of the tail lights should make it look better.

just a bit over a month left and we'll see if all this hype was just a major disappointment or a true entry-level sports car that's been lacking from japan for many years now

Honestly? I'd rock any sports car (that could be considered a sports car) that Toyota comes out with.

It's like Toyota finally got their sense of style back.
I've been disgusted with the horrible looking cars for the last decade. This looks lean and mean. At this price, it would completely destroy a Civic SI.

It looks great and a finally a car for enthusiasts. It's not going to set any lap records, but that was to be expected. It looks sexy and is a classic sporty RWD. Definitely in the right direction unlike the CR-Z. If priced correctly, this could actually be a good alternative to the genesis coupe which is also a fantastic car. I love Honda, but they definitely need to look at reviving their late 90's sports cars as they currently have all their marbles in the wrong direction. Posted via RS Mobile |

I have no idea what I'm looking at. But that looks like a lot of plastic just begging to be swapped out for aftermarket parts.
Man... if the price for this car is so low, the market for parts could get HUGE.

centre position for tach! yay.
wonder if the motor would be tuned to run like the old 4AG blue tops.. with the TVIS noise at the last 1000rpm or so..
the interior looks like its got lots of room for aftermarket stuff.. factory din unit looks like its begging to be replaced and the space underneath.. looks like space for oil temp metres and such

^I remember reading somewhere that the interior was designed to be able to take a rollcage without cutting trim pieces, I wonder if that still holds true.
