So lame they badge it a Scion... other than being associated with college kids, it automatically makes the car depreciate WAY faster than it would if it had a Toyota badge... boooo
I don't pretend to be keeping totally up to date on this whole thing... but isn't it using an already available (in other countries) Subaru motor? Should be lots of info already...
no, it's a new design with direct injection and blah blah blah...
Not sure if this was posted, but there's an interactive website up in Shinjuku connected to a Livestream so you can see live tweets go up on the board.

exactly...if you aren't someone that switches cars frequently that just means you can be able to afford one a little faster from the used market
probably at an awesome value 5 years from its debut as an US import

5 years after? You mean... right when you're probably getting married and having kids and have no room in your life for a 'sports' car? lol
Seems the Toyota version's to be called the GT 86, not bad. Now if they could just guarantee that the North American version's not going to be a Scion...
150lb/ft. Figured. Expensive, torqueless wonder just like the Celica. That engine better response well to mod or Toyota might as well close up shops and stop trying to make sports coupe.
Price is around 25k-30k Euro. Isn't that Mustang GT/Boss territory. They're smoking serious cracks man.
I like the look but not sure if I can respect the power... at that price tag.
it needs at least 50 more hp to become attractive to buyers.
why would someone buy a sports car with 200hp nowaday. A hyundai genesis coupe > this AE86 wannabe.
