Garage Rental anywhere?

Is there any where in Richmond that has garage rentals on a day to day basis?
Or simply a place where theres parking + undercover place with electricity and hot water + water outside for pressure washer? (other than my house)
looking to possibly run a detailing workshop for a UBC club and they dont have any garage contacts lol

I've only heard of http://www.ufixit.ca/ but they are in New Westminster.

^ what fd2 said, but you'd have to call and ask. their main selling point is for people who need a hoist or a workbay and don't have their own garages or access to a hoist

mmm i see, i'm def not their main target as I do not need any of their tools.
Guess I'll continue searching for somewhere closer and I can probably even just rent a place that simply has water + electricity and just set up a tent on top.

can be a new trend?

Has anyone tried http://www.ufixit.ca/ in New West?

Any comments? What are the rates like?

CorneringArtist 04-24-2011 01:39 PM

Rates are like 20 an hour. It's a good place to get work done if you hate using jacks+jackstands, like oil changes and brakes.

+1 for ufixit. Went their with a friend to swap his exhaust system. Having a hoist definitely made it a breeze and the people there were super friendly.

How about using a car garage at my unoccupied house in Richmond?

thanks for the offer! greatly appreciated.
I still havent gotten any feedback on how many people are interested yet, dont think I would want to bother residential neighbourhoods too much if we have more than a handful interested.

Sounds good, I'm referring a friend with a crapped out Civic exhaust to ufixit.ca:fuckyea:
