any of you guys think fido would get it as well? fido only carries 1 blackberry phone and it's not the greatest.. =(.. so i'm currently using an unlocked rogers 9700

Fido will never get blackberries , best bet is to buy one from Rogers and Unlock it , that is what i do.

upgrade ur 9700 to os 6, best upgrades ever. i moved my 9700 to os 6 runs sames as 9780

That is what i did. Bought a telus 9700 unlocked it, but now using it on Fido. Only problem is i can't play any type of video through the browser or an app. I just get an error message and have yet to find a fix for this. So i might switch to rogers cause contract is up in august.

you gotta change your apn settings on your phone, change the field to internet.fido.com
