Buy, sell, trade bikes and gear, set up bike rallies, meet discussions. #revscenebikes
Yeah we got lowered seats, lowered bars, pegs and some other little things. My buddy and I didn't do any performance mods we are thinking of doing the "gy6" swap later on.
$6 to fill it up on 94octane, 180ish km to a tank. $50/mo for full insurance incl theft etc.
Super cheap

Oh? I think my manual recommends 93 or better. But pretty much everybody on the forums has been getting weird results from high octane. Seems to handle better on low. Also, one of the guys was a field engineer or something. Did a lot of fuel testing, says the same thing.
I heard the Ruckus is some sort of block engine? Can't have a BBK drop in kit?

49cc scooters with automatic transmissions require a Class 5.
Wouldn't it be class 6 or 8? I don't think it would fall under 5, I could be wrong. Then again if you're already class 5 you could just take the knowledge test, pass and boom class 6L. Posted via RS Mobile

You dont need motorcycle license for anything under 50cc with automatic transmission
I saw a guy riding a customized Ruckus in Richmond last week. The frame was custom painted a tangerine orange, had custom rims and a single sided swingarm.
Looked pretty nice as everything was done tastefully.
will a ruckus get up the sfu burnaby campus at a decent speed for a person that weighs 150?
You probably won't be overtaking cars on the way up but you'll get there no problem. I used to ride a Yamaha BWS (50cc, 2-stroke) up to sfu burnaby everyday. A parking pass was only $35ish for the semester. Cheap gas, cheap parking, cheap maintenence. Scooters are great for commuting in the city.
