Gaming Headset

What headset do you guys use?

I am looking at some of Razers headsets and they seem to be a reasonable price.
What do you recommend?

PC/X360? Tritton or Astros are the way to go for 5.1'ness.

What's your price range?
Currently I am using Steeleseries Siberia V2
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=45...re=Steelseries
Very comfy and sound quality is decent.
If you have the money I suggest getting Steelseries 7H
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=54...re=Steelseries
is about 120 dollars
If your budget is high I would suggest Sennheiser PC350
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=29...%20Electronics
However as some ppl suggest to get the true quality of Sennheiser PC350 you need more than just a sound card (something like a whole stero system setup).
I wouldn't suggest getting anything with razer.I have their keyboard and mouse and is pretty bad. The keyboard's back light would turn off on its own randomly sometimes when I am play WoW it would be crazy where I can't control it. Got their wirless mouse and after 2 days it stop working like the button would not respond. Got a new one from NCIX as replacement and it broke within a week and finally got the MX518.

if you want sthing with all the bells & whistles go for Turtle Beach PX5 or Logitech G930
sound quality isn't the best out there though

i have the pc350, awesome sound quality. As said above works best with a mixamp. I think there are a couple threads that have this same discussion. I suggest u search and find them.

I use the Logitech g510 for my keyboard and a Razer mamba for my mouse. I like the Razer mices.

Tactic 3d alpha from creative is what I'm using now... Very good for the price you are paying... Just go memory express and ask them to open it for you to try. For $50 you can't go wrong with it

I think I am gonna go with the steel series.

I have had bad experience with Creative headphones/headsets sound quality is absolute garbage IMO.

They can make good sound cards but not headphones

+1 to that. i had to return 2 Creative headphones in the past that were just TERRIBLE. first one was DOA, 2nd one the microphone was awful and the sound on the left ear was scratchy.

a pretty good budget gaming headphone is the GAMECOM 777
i bought these like 3 years for $40 on sale (reg price was like $89). overall quality was good, microphone was great, sound was pretty good. i had to replace them because i dropped them twice which caused a decent sized crack.

so far im pretty satisfied with my steelseries 7h. nothing to really complain about them.

This is really not bad... but I don't know... since this is really my first somewhat gaming headset.
