Anyone know a shop that stocks this Manfrotto 394 RC4 Low Profile Rectangular Rapid Connect Adapter with 410PL Plate ? I want to get some for my Glidecam and Monopod to standardize my plates with my 410 gear head.

Click on the video and check out the description. There's a fairly comprehensive parts list with links to other DIY builds he modified to create this one.
Where do you guys find the music for the background of the videos?
I'm just starting to play around with video and it's pretty fun! It's kind of like photography but at the same time it's completely different! Been watching some Lynda videos for tutorials and stuff and it's been pretty helpful. Any other resources you guys would recommend?
WongFu songs work well lol. I used them for some class projects. Or else some simple instrumental stuff is pretty good too. Work with instrumental stuff first I'd say so the lyrics don't overshadow the video.
Evanescence song just fell into my head with car videos. Damn

yea I find the background music can really make or break a video.
look for simpler tune bgm nothing too complicated like techno, unless of course your video calls for something like that.
Thanks for that site! Pretty good selection of music on it. Will definitely make an account and start listening away and see which ones I could potentially use
thanks guys
jordan, I'm looking into adapting a third party motor onto the pocket dolly because the motion control stuff from kessler crane is $$$. as for timelapses go, I'm going to start shooting them and compile a short video. if anyone is interested in shooting timelapses lets make a recscene meet out of it.
How do you like your flycam nano and Rode Videomic? I'm deciding between the Rode Videomic and the Zoom H1 (from as far as I can tell from youtube reviews, very similar audio quality). Can you comment on your experience with the Rode?
I've definitely decided to stick with the flycam nano based solely on the price/all the positive reviews.
I've been nominated to make a short film (~10mins) for my cousins wedding Excited but haven't got a leg to stand on as far as DSLR cinematography goes... trying to learn as much as I can in 5 months
