Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming Nov. 8, 2011, Kotaku has learned, delivering with it mammoth battles that engulf a dozen cities around the world including New York, Paris and London.
Multiple sources have shared details of the game's story, art, sounds and game modes with Kotaku, noting that the game will reshape the landscape of the Call of Duty franchise, bringing an impressive number of eclectic settings, deep multiplayer gaming and a story that ties up nearly all loose ends from previous titles, including the final moments of key figures in the series' history.
Cool, the story sounds fun, and looks like you'll go through a bunch of interesting locations.

wow so it's true..they are marketing to truly go head to head with battlefield 3. Although the backbone of IW is dead I'm really hoping this game lives up to its predecessors.

In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines where they will experience heart-pounding single player missions and competitive multiplayer actions ranging across diverse locations from around the globe including Paris, Tehran and New York.
Cool they put some more details on the guns......
does mw have fucken FLYING JETS BOMBING YOUR ASS? TANKS?!?!?
can you blow up a fucken building? NOPE
teaser pic looks like garbage? really? WOW.. that was very insightful, anymore bullshit you'd like to spew? come on now, let's hear it.
now i'm not one to pick sides, but because i'm not a battlefield player, please elaborate as to why battlefield is greater than mw3.
cod doesn't have flying jets, but it's got tanks, choppers, carpet bombs, napalms, and.. nukes..
mw3's rumoured to have destructible environments. we'll just wait and see when more details are released in the coming weeks cause you know, this game's going to sell regardless of it's advertising campaign. 1 million likes for another battlefield trailer.. seriously?

aww you mad? don't hate cause cod's got the formula right, over and over again. having the same stick layout is great cause you don't have to learn the controls all over again.
If you have never played battlefield, go try it out.
I am not talking about how the controller layout has never changed WHO GIVES A FUCK
My point is that COD games just feel like the same game with tweaks here and there, like a reskin of a game.

i'll wait for the reviews on battlefield 3 before i decide on making the jump.
cod feels like the same game over and over again because it works. the movement style, perks, killstreaks, guns and attachments, which vary from game to game, don't change drastically. but that's what i like about this game - consistency. mw3 looks like mw2 with new guns, nothing wrong with that. i still play mw2 and it's wicked.
you don't like cod cause it's repetive? well boo hoo, don't buy it then.
Ur making a one sided argument. Sounds like you have only played COD games lol
Yes mw has some pros but I don't get why people hype it up.
I have played mw2 black ops and bc2
and my opinion bc2 is superior by far.
Don't be a whiny little fanboy
i've played a lot of fps's, but i like cod the most.
don't be a whiny little fanboy? you do realize you're in a cod thread, right? you come in here and start stomping on cod and you're calling me a fan boy? what does that make you? a battle field fan boy? my opinion is that you should take your opinions and go back to your battlefield thread, seeing as how it is a far superior game.
