Our right d-man was new, just got the game a week before.
I know it may not look like it but the other team is an Elite team with a pretty damn good record. We got owned 4-1 the game before by them and really tightened down in this game.
Some tips:
If you are playing against human d-men, pressure them like crazy with the forwards on the forecheck. They'll panic and make a bad play.
But if you are playing a team with human forwards and ai d-man, back the hell up, hold LT (L2) and skate backwards in the passing lanes. The forwards will call for the puck and it'll come right to you. The easiest teams we play against are the ones with trigger happy forwards who call for the puck any chance they get. I get like 10 interceptions a game against them.
Playing against teams with 4/5 players, use the dump and chase more since most teams have players that collapse hard to the puck carrier trying to enter the zone.

What happened to the memberlist that shows club stats? it won't load anymore
yeah it sucks (ea site), best way to do is when on ps3 nhl 12 online menu, i think it's L3 or something to pull up your stats, and u can check out your actual club only stats....
anyways, i think we are getting to know each other's playing style quite well, and developing pretty good chemistry, and it's been a blast (especially when you win)
Yeah, we should probably start trimming that number down. It won't even display all the members on our club info page anymore (it only displays up to 25).
Right now, our active core is:
Myself
Dave
Allan
Yat
Dean
Michael
Ken
Other Ken
Kyle
Our inactive core (guys who've played a lot, but not recently):
Blazed
Nassy
I went ahead and removed all the members who haven't played a game for the club, which trimmed that number down to 28, and disabled Join Requests.
Anyone with less than 10 total games played for the club at the end of the NHL season will get cut, so please be active in the next couple of weeks if you'd like to remain on the team. There are currently 11 players below the 10-game mark:
I prefer to play RW but I can play any position except goalie. I've been playing a few games as C when Yatli and Skead aren't around. I'm winning 80% off the faceoffs that I take
I'd play any position too but prefer right wing or right defense. Was playing last night from 10pm to 1130pm and we got rocked for three games. Suggestion to everyone, let's play our positions. Defense was cheating up too far all night and that led to odd man rushes. And we weren't clearing the zone fast enough. Sometimes trying to be too cute with the puck and got ourselves robbed of the puck in our own end. Posted via RS Mobile
