that game where we lost 1-9 was pretty bad.. those guys were fast lol..i don't even know how they can get that quick.. | everything was going in for us in that 10-1 game, kinda like the game we lost 9-1, everything was going in for them, what amazes me is that both games are ai goalies, so it's the luck of the draw i guess. that was fun though

would've been fun to be part of the 10-1 game. I didn't start playing till the 4OT and that was like 2 games in itself.
I think we're still in the playoffs. I need jmac on RD to feed me the puck haha

I somehow have this feeling if this wasn't a voting contest
Claude Giroux, Andrew Ladd, Jeff Skinner or John Tavares would most likely end up on the cover

We had some really good games tonight. Played mostly with Mini.Kangaroo, AdrlnRush and Kenucks
Best score was 8-0 spanking and a gutsy 6-4 victory over Neighborhoods (one of their player had like 1,000 pts in 400 games).
But the best game was our last one when we were down 3-0 after the first and came back and won 4-3 Quote:

it was awesome fun yesterday (again), one thing i do think, if u dont have a good spot on shot, or have the momentum to rip it, look at what options are there (back to c, or wing), i am gulity of that too sometimes, but i think we are coming together as a real solid team.
when we were down 3-0 in that last game, i wasnt too worry, somehow, i had a feeling that we really got that game.
i think our breakout is fine (transition from D zone to O zone), our cycle and getting open is good too, our biggest weakness is we chase in the defensive zone (myself guilty as that as well at times), but if everyone can play their man in the defensive zone, help out only when it wont create too much open space for other opposing players, our team will be tough to beat (imo)

he's the GM and the best RD on our team. | Heck yeah that was a lot of fun.
Yat... you throw up some pretty amazing passes. I changed my player's handedness to a righty and changed his style to Sniper just so I can load up and bomb one-timers off your pass.
I did that 'cause I noticed that I was bombing one-timers wide and missing the net. My first shot right after the change was a goal that went in just underneath the crossbar.
Anyways, since my change, all my one-timers are on net.
99 ratings for Slapshot accuracy and power FTW!

Kenucks... you lose your connection at the most inopportune times. That last game would have been great with you on RD but then you loss your connection five minutes into the game... WTF?

I need to be more cognizant of looking for other plays.
When we're up on the boards in the offensive zone, I like how Yat goes up in behind the net to give us another passing option. I've only started noticing that he was doing that last game and managed to get him the puck on one occasion and he then went in around behind the net and passed it back on front to me on a sweet give-n-go play... too bad I didn't score on that one.
Mini, I agree that we have a good rush. Just so we're on the same page, when we're on the rush and Yat has the puck coming up the right wing, I'm likely going to stop in the high slot while you'd continue to the lower farside. We'd both be ready for one-timers and Yat will have the option to pass to me (in the high slot) or you (in the lower farside).
Anyways, I think we're building some great chemistry. It's been fun playing with Mini, Yat, and Kenucks. Van-19 typically comes around 2230hrs and Skead has been coming on at about 2300hrs. Unfortunately, by the time Van and Skead show up, I'm basically done and going to bed.

I'm getting used to D too so as long as I get to improve my players' attributes soon, i'll be ok.. haha.. my mindset is to just let you FWDs do your thing and I just stay back and sometimes pinch in for a shot or 2 (hopefully someone would cover for me back on D if I do)
btw, I usually like passing side of the boards or bounce it off the boards to our fwds. I think it's working for me better so i'd prolly stick to it.. just thought i'd let u guys know lol.
and yatli.. I won't try to go for bodychecks a lot lol.. it's just so damn tempting sometimes, you know ![Big Grin](/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) hahaha
I do agree that we've been playing way better than before that's for sure ![Smilie](/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif) I just don't play enough to get my player's attributes the same level as you guys |

So don't worry about it. If you pinch, I'll cover for you. Besides, since I'm usually in the high slot waiting for one-timers, I'm usually in the best position to slide back and cover for you when you're pinching down the boards.
About your attributes... play a bunch of drop-in games to level up your player and gain experience. Or, purchase a boost pack and get instant upgrades - it's the best $5 I've ever spent!

Unfortunately, by the time Van and Skead show up, I'm basically done and going to bed. | for some reason, us 3 have pretty deadly chemistry especially going into their offensive zone
i think ideally one of us should start going behind the net (depending on situation), and start a cycle
all 3 of us could one time
all 3 of us could pass, and would pass
against crappy teams, we can just use one play, but against good teams, i think if we can develop a few plays, it will give us a better chance of winning
in defensive zone, wingers should be watching the point, and c grab their center, and at the right time winger would go help,
once in the offensive zone, i like to either make a quick pass cross to rush or yat, or i might make a quick stop, pull back a little, and pass it forward to the c, and the c would have the option to shoot, or pass it back to lw, or to rw
spreadout and getting open is the key on both ends
which i think we are doing a great job as a team, defensively we need to spreadout a little more, but that's the only actually weakness i see, and kenuck u got to make quicker passes if the lane is open going up, because when u stop, do ur spin, we are all the way up there, and once we stop to wait for a pass, our momentum stops, which makes it harder to get into the zone
