BBM not sending?
 

When i try to bbm sometimes its just a checkmark, sometime this fixes under a minute but than today i didn't send for like 30minutes so i just took the battery out and put it back in than it worked. Anyone know whats wrong with this? Like 2hours later it happened again but my friend said her phone died and my other friend said he gave his phone to sister which didn't have bb plan i guess .

Anyone know whats wrong? im using a bb bold 9000 thanks .

So it's just a checkmark correct? No "D" or "R"?

It's a known BBM issue..happens to me once in a while. Sometimes it sends instantly, sometimes it takes a day to send it. It usually happens when I have like 1 bar on my network and thats when it doesn't send...

happned to me too, i oculdnt send my gf a bbm message for a few hrs, i had to text her instead

Sometimes, well most of the time for me, it`s always the other phone not being able to receive it.

oh thanks everyone, and yeah it was only a checkmark :/ works fine now, it was because my friends phone died, so i tried with my other buddy but he gave his phone to his sister to use without a bb data plan so bbm didn't work .

When there's just a checkmark, that means it sent on your side and their phone was dead or no service or something, when you have the red clock, you lack service.

I was having this problem, friggin driving me crazy. Lasted for a few hours the other day, some messages were going threw some weren't. I tried even having my gf beside me, we both had full reception. Some would deliver, some would just be a check. 4-5 hours later, she started getting random messages from me.

Looks like its a problem with BBM then...lets just hope RIM gets their shit together and fixes this issue..

In the meantime lets use LiveProfile...it delivers and receives messages instantly with the D and R checkmarks :troll:

When BBM does that, it is RIM's servers in the area. Sometimes one in every three messages will send and then all the ones that didn't send will after 4-5 hours. Most of the time instead of waiting, I just uninstall/reinstall BBM, takes 5 minutes and fixes everything.
