3 - 4 days summer getaway in BC

Looking for ideas for a short vacation during the summer. Need some recommendations.

One of the idea is going to one of the private island in BC and rent a cabin there. Just wondering if theres any entertainment provided? and looking for some cheap ones.

I go every summer to Penticton... it's a very relaxing place and not too crowded IMO.

And while you are there, check out the farm market on the road... if you see "peach salsa"... get it... it's beyond awesome.

If you are able to drive why not tour the Okanagan Valley?

Start from Kelwona and drive down to Osoyoos. For your accomodations, you can check in one of the hotels or camp grounds.

Great time to go is from July to August.

Whistler is my favorite place to go in the summer. In fact I like it there better in the summer then in the winter.

Harrison springs isn't bad but I think its more of a 2-3day trip.. aka you might run out of stuff to do.

Im planning a trip this summer for the island.. going to probably hit up Tofino -> Nanimo -> Victoria in one go.. probably 3-4days maybe 5?

Whistler is always a good idea and harrison hot springs do get sort of boring but you could always go to summerland its pretty nice their definatly a nice vacation spot in BC or savory island is always nice but i mean depends how much money your willing to fork out?

Surprisingly Nanaimo is quite relaxing and the food is quite good comparing to Vancouver pricing.

Drink.

Hang out in the Cabin.

Drink.

Go into the village.

Go for walks.

Whistler is pretty awesome imo, if you know how to appreciate the outdoors and scenery.

I could hang out at a Cabin for a whole weekend without leaving granted I 'm staying with the right people.
