Viber app for iphone
 

My friend just introduced me this app. I just made a 10 mins phone call to taiwan today (another iphone user with viber) and wondering if this is really free and I assumed it only deduct mins used from my plan as I'm chatting local ?

been around for long time now. yes it is free , it only uses data

i find not a lot of ppl use it or even know about it. i prefer skype (for video) or talkatone.

so this app basically just run off DATA and no minutes right ? because i dont have that much day time min. only 200min/month

Yes, it only uses data. I use it all the time to talk to relatives around the world.

I use nettalk to talk over WIFI to USA and Canada

Google Voice lets you make direct call using WIFI/data(?) to landline and cell phone numbers for free for any number in Canada/US.

sorry for thread jack but i have a question for bb 9700 .. is there a similar program to nettalk ?
