Sorry that my post is not about hockey jerseys, but for those who buy from Windy City Wholesale, I want your opinion on their products. I have doubts that the Swingman jersey that they sold me is fake. So I went out and bought one just to compare. I know I may be comparing apples to oranges. The tags suggest that the one from WCW is 2009 whereas the one that I bought in a retail store is 2011.
1. Left is WCW, right is retail, both Swingman that retails for $100.
2. Tags are different, but what about the jersey material? WCW has big breathing holes and 2011 has tighter holes?
3. 2009 model uses bigger fonts for player names?
4. 2009 model leaves the middle of "B", "R", and "A" unstitched?
5. The "Lakers" logo looks the same. The NBA logo is not as defined but this can be a matter of angle in the picture.
6. 2011 model uses better quality fonts and logo? Notice the diamond shaped shadows.
7. Insides are quite different, but that should only a difference between years.
8. Both tags look legit, I tried looking for the codes on Google but no luck.
I have (and can take) more pictures if interested. To me, the material for the seams feel and look the same. The base material for the jersey is obviously different. To me, WCW model looks good except the unstitiched name parts. I would be very disappointed and will file a Paypal chargeback if I have enough evidence to suggest that the jersey is fake.
Just received another KB jersey today, same size, same style. This time it's a 08 version with totally different tag locations. Whatever, I am happy to wear a KB jersey to the game next season.
im looking for a Colorado Avalanche away jersey (the white one) authentic w/ strap. where would be the best place to find one? it seems to be very rare now.

There's still a lot to choose from since Colorado had so many different brands when Roy played for them. The most desirable would be the Starters they wore in '96 and the Koho Thirds with "COLORADO" written diagonally across the chest. Are you looking for a goalie cut too or a player's cut?

IIRC the '96 Starters are the hardest to find...The only year they had the NHL shield and the Starter logo together in a box. You think the old thirds eh? I would have thought the '96 Starter mesh, or the CCM/KOHO from their other cup win in 2001. Maybe even a Proplayer? But those are even harder to find!

I forgot about those Pro Players since they were a one year deal. But pretty much a Pro Player Authentic of any team would be rare.
I find third jerseys are typically harder to find in later years because most people buy the home and away. Give it a bit more time and the value will increase. It won't be to the same extent as some of the thirds released in the mid-late 90s but thirds will always be in less supply than home/away.

DON'T ORDER THOSE JERSEYS FROM MACYS ONLINE!
the people working at the warehouse are fucking idiots. I ordered a Washington jersey, a pair of kicks, and 2 shirts..they only shipped me 1 shirt. No jersey, no other shirt, no shoes.
Called the people and they said someone at the warehouse messed up, ended up telling me I could no longer get the jersey and shoes cause they were now sold out. They went on to say they'll file a complaint about the person who packed up the items (name and code were stickered onto the package). Fucken pretty much drove to Point Roberts for no reason.
They should start hiring monkeys to work at the warehouse and pay them in bananas.
