The Canucks Team Store is selling team stock goalie cuts but they're not cheap. There is no GC in retail.

Anyone know a place where you can get stitching done for the older Mighty Ducks jerseys? I want to get Averman put on it because I picked up the jersey for cheap.

Email/call Hockey Shop in Surrey.

Price is $75 if I remember correctly, but Aaron does everything right.

The Hype had his Ducks jerseys stitched there if I remember correctly

Do you guys like last season's RBK logo more or this season's "Reebok" more?

I liked the vector more. This season's is more "in your face". Perfect way of marketing/advertising Reebok jerseys

+1 for The Hockey Shop. I don't think there's a person in town who pays more attention to detail than Aaron. If you want things done right the first time, I'd take it to him.

I hate Reebok but given the choice I'd choose the RBK vector. When they broke out into the equipment scene a few years back they had two lines: RBK was top end and Reebok was the cheap shit. They did a real good job getting their branding done because every time I see "Reebok" now, I see it as being inferior.

Actually, their products are inferior. I mean, come on. Moving production of authentic jerseys to INDONESIA? Reebok already lost out to Nike on the NFL contract, I hope the NHL is next. Reebok's original goal was to outfit all of the major leagues in North America but luckily they couldn't pry Majestic out of VF Corp's hands. If you see an "Authentic" jersey with "Reebok" written on the back, STAY AWAY! The quality is just as bad as the counterfeits.

With just the NHL and NBA remaining, as soon as those contracts are done say goodbye to Reebok as a company. They have nothing else going for them other than this monopoly for uniforms.

Interesting. I personally have no preference as hockey jerseys are sooo easy to ruin against sharp or rough surface. I just find it weird as I just sold 2 rbk logo jerseys for almost retail price on CL. One buyer actually mentioned that he likes the logo thats why he bought mine.

For the new jersey flowing around, I find that the Reebok patch has a different shade of blue.

I find Adidas is doing a pretty good job with the NBA swingman jerseys. Can't say the same for replica jerseys though.

Some guys might also be sticklers for accuracy. I would see a current Canucks jersey with "Reebok" on the back with a SCF patch as wrong vs having one with the Vector logo and SCF patch.

Yea that would be weird. SCF is for last season... Any reason why pre-stitched Kesler and D.Sedin jerseys don't have A on them but H.Sedin jersey does have a C?

Kesler and D.Sedin jerseys only have the A for home games

Bieksa and Manny have the A for away games

If they're Away jerseys, Kesler and D. Sedin shouldn't have the "A."

Its debatable though. Depending on when the person got their jersey, Kesler did have the "A" on his away jersey a few years ago:

Yea, I was referring to home jerseys. Technically Lappy and Salo had "A" on their jerseys in the preseason.

Where are you seeing these jerseys without the front letters?

...That was preseason. Preseason doesn't mean anything

The "regulars" [Kesler, Sedins, Burrows etc] weren't playing much in the preseason, and I believe it's required NHL teams pick 2 assistant captains for preseason games each season.

I remember Ballard having the "A" aswell during this preseason

Negative. I had one of my Ducks jerseys done at Major League Lettering in Ontario (sad that they only do team sets now ), and I had my Selanne Wildwing jersey done by Game Day Sports Archives, also in Ontario (Toronto IIRC). That being said, if the guys here vouch for the Hockey Shop, go for it. It's your basic hockey font. The only thing I'd be concerned about is if the jersey is purple or white ultrafil, because not too many places have the material for nameplates.
