I'm guessing the $90 price from Collector's Den is probably just for customization. I think PCC charges $80 for the multilayer jersey customization, so that's not unreasonable.

A non-fake black skate jersey should be about $100 on its own as they can be found on sale every now and then. If you want a China fake replica including name and numbers, they can be bought online for pretty cheap, like $50-60 if not less.

no wonder the forum's population is decreasing (the mods and everyone know it), remove the fail button so people actively post the fuck they want.
forum is just unfriendly towards newbs

I came in and asked for a women's jersey as a gift,
he gave me a weird looked and tried redirecting me towards the men section....and I already told him my "gift situation" before hand as well.

lol at getting so worked up over a Fail. You have given fails out, yet you complain about how it should be removed?

And a Millionaires jersey with Bure's name on it?

Good idea. I think we should all do a group buy on Victoria Cougar jerseys with Larionov's name.

Wait, let me rephrase.

Jerseys come in three flavours:

Authentic
Replica
Fake/counterfeit

If that's the case, how do you define authentic vs replica vs fake/counterfeit?

I suppose

Authentic - Exactly the same one as the player wears minus the sweat

Replica - A replicated version of the Authentic jersey. Often some differences are the material is cheaper, patches and logos are ironed on vs stitched on although you can get replica jerseys with stiitching. Quality overall is not as good but price is a lot cheaper. It's still "real" in the sense that it's sold officially from NHL.

Fake/counterfeit - A complete knock off not endorsed by the NHL. Cheap material, often design flaws such as logos backwards, different sizes, colors, different player names etc

I said this back in the summer, whoever decided to name jerseys:

"Authentic EDGE and Premier Replica" should be shot in the head. People with less knowledge often think replica=fake. It should've been:

Edge Jerseys
Premier Jerseys
Fake/Counterfeit jerseys

Pretty much hit the nail on the head except Reebok really cheaped out on their Authentics this year and what you can get at the retail level is not even in the same league as what the players wear.

After spending time searching on where I should buy my jersey's, I decided to take the advice from this thread and buy jerseys for my gf and I from RMS.

If you are thinking of getting those cheap $50 Chinese knock offs this is what a fake jersey looks like compared to a RMS jersey.

Can you get a player name and number stitched on this one? Or is that a no-no?
