Good Calendar App for Android

Anyone knows a good and simple calendar app for Android? I just want something really simple that I can record my event and it will ring my phone on the time I set.

Google's calender app is great, just sync it with your own google calenders.

I use Calengoo. Syncs with google and the month view is actually useful because you can see the event names instead of dots.

I like the date selection in Pocket Informant better. When I click to change a date in calengoo it brings up the dreadful default Android selector.

gCAL for the win. Been using it for years now...Mainly because I wanted a decent widget that gave me upcoming events as well as today's events. Standard calender widget only shows the event on the occurring day.

Also, if your comfortable with Android, download the LG Optimus ported widget. It has the option of having a clock, calender, weather or all of them together.

Also wanted to add, Launcher Pro's Calender widget is really nice too. It has different views agenda, day to day, monthly etc. as well as a variety of widgets to chose from.

Jorte Calander. It's free, displays your events in monthly view. Agenda list present. Sync-able with google calander.
