Accident question, 50/50 situations for ICBC
 

Waited to turn left at a intersection, big van was also turning left on the other left turn lane, so I couldn't really see if a car was coming or not. I waited until it turned red, seems clear then turned left, front bumper got nailed. I got no witnesses. If they say it wasn't a red does it turn 50/50?

Your 100% at fault unfortunately.. Unless you can find a witness that said the other driver ran a red, then your pretty much SOL.. Its your job to make sure the intersection is safe before turning, because the other car technically has the right of way. Did the intersection have red light cameras??
