I had no doubt Japan would be back up and running within a short period of time. They have probably the best system in place to recover from an earthquake considering they get so many...and the Japanese just seem to fix shit.
Guess that tanker will just become a landmark, eh? Must be near impossible to move something that big without taking it apart... and with it being thick metal, must be difficult to cut into pieces.

don't get me wrong, i'm happy the country is recovering. what i see on the pictures is what i'd consider recovery on a normal level. astonishing would be skyscrapers in place of the debris. you are all easily amused. bring on the fails
