Newb Question about iPhones from Apple Stores Ca.
My iPhone 3GS crapped out on me the other day and so I went to the apple store earlier in the day to get it fixed.. they couldn't fix it so they ended up giving me a brand new phone!

My question now is... I was locked onto fido before because I got my iPhone from a fido store. This new iPhone is from the Apple Store... is it 'factory unlocked??

Put in a sim from someone else and see if it works.
