Yeah, the reffing has been an absolute joke throughout the entire playoffs.
That was the longest first period ever, Flyers are showing a lot of heart and Pens reinforcing that they are scum. Fleury is choking hard.

If NHL series were like movies, every other series is like good bad ugly, godfather, etc, and then this pens-flyers series is like dumb and dumber... | It's a great game because of the amount of passion both teams are showing. Fans appreciate that. It's not like they staged a fight, all the emotions that boiled over are from resulting plays. I rather see this than a bunch of players diving and looking at the ref for calls. |

rather start the rest of the games and lose in the
playoffs, or win the cup on the bench, he'd choose
the latter. I think he's old enough and wise enough
to know better.
The Canucks kept Schneider for the postseason and its time to use him. Lou played a great game in game 1, a decent game in 2, but let's face it. The Canucks have enough trust in Schneider and play a differently (better game IMO) when he's in net.
Wouldn't be surprised if he's starting tonight. | So I guess at your work (think of yourself) when you do a really good job, and do your best but something bad happens despite your best effort, and your boss decides to suspend you then you wouldn't care?
I know nothing about Luongo personally. Scratch that, I know nothing about any of the players personally. I know though what its like to be human, and that would piss me off. This is a stupid move not giving the chance for him to rebound. If they win tonight with Schneider, I know that Lu could have given them the W easily. If they lose tonight, I think it will be the second dumbest decision by AV.

I'm loving the Flyers Pens Series.
Old school hockey at the greatest.
This series by far the best series so far in 2012 playoffs.
I'm loving the Flyers and from what I'm seeing I think they go on to win it. No team in Playoffs right now is anywhere near them.

THE GUYS IN FRONT, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, PLAY BETTER WHEN SCHNEIDER IS BEHIND THEM INSTEAD OF LOU! DOES THIS MAKE SENSE? HOW MANY TIMES IS THIS GOING TO NEED TO BE SAID??
Luongo knows he's played great and that nobody is putting the blame on him right now. He knows the team needs a shake-up and if that shake-up means putting in the goalie who has been just as good as him in net instead, then he will understand that and accept that. This is fucking hockey. If you have a problem with your boss giving a task originally assigned for you to someone else because that someone else might be better fit at the time, then you are fucking selfish.

I think the argument is about getting a win doing whatever possible. AV has changed the lines up (sort of) but nothing seems to work. The next option to explore would be changing up the goalie.
I don't agree with AV's lines placement and D pairings sometimes. But the current players in front of the goalie cannot get any worse. 2 SHGs is unacceptable. Quote:

^ But I also think its a 7 game series, there isn't time for luongo to figure his shit(I don't think the move is really about luongo being bad but he wasn't amazing in game 2 either), its just a shakeup, players play differently in front of different goalies imo, and lets not forget cory at least statistically speaking had been outperforming luongo anyways, its not like they putting in some career backup bum.
