You wanna try being a general manager of a professional hockey team in the NHL. It's a tough job dude. Gillis messed up on the Hodgson trade big time. I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, there's absolutely nothing that a Canuck fan can do to change the face of this team. I don't like what MG did either on that trade. I can vent out online, call up Team 1040 and give comments on radio. At the end of the day, it does NOTHING to help change the make up of this team. That is the most frustrating part of being a Canucks fan. I have no influence on the way this team plays, which players play for us, or what kind of managers run this team. :fuuuuu: |

Someone fucking destroy Duncan Keith next season, next time Canucks play Hawks please. |

At the end of the day, this is a business for the ownership and the Canucks is an investment. Although we're far from being a Toronto environment where we will still sellout the seats despite multiple failures, it is a road I don't want to go down to, nor a road I think this ownership/management should go down to. And seriously, when I was getting jabs (although it was friendly) about me getting moody with this team near the end of the season; I was foreseeing the lack of intensity and work ethic; which unfortunately where my concern was correct, it carried through to the playoffs. and a large part of it too is just about blowing some steam. |
I think the Canucks played great tonight. It was Jonathan Quick that made the Kings win. |

Lost of frustration in this forum tonight. This year's playoffs are no different than any year. We've known this for some time now: 1) The regular season will be called differently than the playoffs 2) Superstars that don't goon it up won't be protected 3) You can't win the playoffs with any style played for 82 games during the regular season. |

I was at game 2 and the shots were something ridiculous ~48 for Canucks. All the fans in my section laughed at that stat. It could've been nothing more than 3 good shots. The rest could've been made by an ASHL goalie. |
we need a dose of shawn avery |

Too bad it sounds like someone higher up like Gillis/AV need to tell somone on this team as they all play like pussies and whiners. I bet its them telling the players not to fight. "We will get them back on the PP". Too bad that hasnt worked since last playoff? Kassian trade well use him now what the hell is he doing sitting on the bench?? If someone fucks with your top players take them out...all i see is trash talking and whining. I am sick of it. |

Good intention, bad timing. |
Record for a team leading 3-0 in a playoff series in the NHL, NBA, and MLB: 293-4 |

Wrong. 23 blocked shots..and the ones we did get were right into his crest, no rebounds. Quick had an easy night. Don't put Quick on a pedestal...the problem was our lack of creativity in getting good shots on net. They played great tonight? Really? :rukidding: |

I didn't expect to see the second coming of CDC here tonight, but here we are. That Kassian trade looks awfully bad right now, especially considering that AV played him all of 3:xx tonight. He made a terrible giveaway in the 3rd period, but I would liked to have seen him battle in the corners with a few players. Schneider starts in Game 4. He gave the Canucks a chance to win and he got beat by a terrific shot resulting from a terrible effort on the boards by Malhotra. |
Yeah lets all blame Kassian and Cody trade for the 3 loses NOTHING to do with Daniel being out |
A girl as our captain, that says a lot. |
fuck, call linden and tell him to suit up. |

Coaches can yell at the their players and make changes to the line-up all they want ,but in the end it all comes down to how much heart the players have and their desire to do whatever it takes to win. LA also has no pressure on them coming into the playoffs, it's all on Vancouver. I thought Canucks fans were loyal but all I hear is people bashing and whining and fuck this and fuck that about them. True fans stay positive. Canucks haven't won the cup in 42 years. People in Chicago have been waiting 103 years for the Cubs to win the world series. They still sll out all their games. That's dedication |

Henrik has played his heart all series, but guess what? He has no one to pass to. He gets the wind knocked out of him and in the second to next shift, he plays 2:30 and dominates play along the boards. He's doing his part, but others haven't picked up the slack. |
