That's always AV's default answer how they played a good game. What a terrible stat. How many real scoring chances were there from those 41 shots?
I'd rather see hits. Hits create turn overs, emotion, and hesitation from D men.
Sure, they didn't have many shots on goal, but maybe give some credit to the Kings defense?
The team did what it had to do on the road. Road games on shitty ice are played conservatively. They were the victim of 1 poor play and it cost them the game.
I don't know why you guys are speaking to me like I'm some kind of idiot. I'm saying he is playing 3 minutes a game, so it's no wonder he's not fighting, hitting big, etc. I'm not saying he should be playing more.
I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying he isn't doing any of that because he is upset over his ice-time?
3min is approx. 6 shifts. That's plenty to make something happen.

Huh? No, I'm saying he doesn't play much and is usually playing in his own zone. Not much of an opportunity to hit anyone or get into a scrap without shedding his shit and jumping someone.
41 shots, but how many of them were quality scoring chances? I mean I don't disagree I think quick is hot, hell I honestly believe he will win the vezina, but he didn't need to showcase that talent tonight.
Come on man. Were you watching the same game? When you shoot it into the logo with no rebound, you make any goalie look like Roy.
What do you suggest? Not like they sat back and didn't attack. They put 41 chances on net and there was a hot goaltender. They didn't get it done. 0-0 going into third we all know next goal wins, so the kings scored first.

LOL at the guys calling for AV's head. Who do you think would do a better job? All the available coaches right now are out of a head coaching job for a reason.
I wouldn't say turning on eachother. Just that everyone here is passionate about the canucks and we want to see the team do well. Constructive criticism.
People need to relax. Kassien is a 21 year-old kid. His talent will be displayed with time. You have to be patient with the kid and can't expect him to be all world right away. He will be a noticeable force maybe half way thru next year...maybe.
Not disputing that but he has been useless for us since the trade. Getting someone with potential for later and losing someone that can help us now is a bad idea. Last time i remember we want to win the cup now not in a couple years.
Possibly the last game for the CWALL in a nucks sweater?
I dont know man... its a coin flip depending on who the devils or lightning want.
Our top line isnt getting any younger. I wouldnt mind luongo for parise's right RFA

Craig MacTavish, coach of the Chicago Wolves (Canucks farm team).
Brought an underdog Oilers team to game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Positives from this game? Cory Schneider. Thats it. 41 shots? Big fucking deal, they were all perimeter shots that were easy to save. I'm an optimistic person but I do not see the Canucks coming back from this.
If we do in fact get sweeped, I hope Gillis has the balls like Paul Holgrem to make some gutsy trades.
