Jim Hughson is on the air now with Team1040 at the ESPN media centre in LA.
Jim is saying that it is "confidence problems" that is affecting Edler's play this series. He says that confidence is an underrated quality in an NHL player.
He is spot on.
Edler just looks like he's lacking belief in himself right now.
LOL. -wonder if Canucks management might consider a "good luck charm" in Miss USA Alyssa Campanella. Gillis should send a pair of tickets to her and her boyfriend to watch a game.
The team is 2-0 when she watches the game in person.
Woo hoo! A hot redhead that is a Canucks fan. Joey Kenworth's face is flushed in this clip, haha.
If this was any other injury I would be ok with him playing. But concussion problems are no joke. They are career enders if not treated properly. Forget this series. Think long term.
If Daniel has headaches after practice on Tuesday, he should definitely not play game 4. Concussions are serious injuries. The coach would be foolish to risk a player's career in order to increase the chances of victory on Wednesday.
Come on AV, play Kassian on the top line. I am confident that the big guy can play with Henrik and Burrows. Do it!!!

Regarding Daniel's situation, the extra few days between games 3 & 4 might come in handy to see if he has any lingering symptoms.

I'm sure this is just part of the process for Daniel's recovery... IF he does somehow play then I expect him to take Weise's spot and just play the powerplay minutes (if we get the chances)..I think Weise plays 5 minutes and Kassian 3 minutes so might as well have Daniel sit on teh bench lol

Did Lappy play with Hank and Burr last night? should consider this for Game 4.
Mixing 2/3 with 23/6 is not a good move. Hell even 8 is starting to panick.

I agree that concussions are serious business.
But, how many careers have ended due to them?
It just seems like in todays game, everyone is diagnosed with a concussion. I understand that we are better at diagnosing them now, but what about even a few years ago where we didn't have the concussion protocols.. Guys were still getting knocked into boards, hit to the head, etc. And they would play come back and finish the game or play the next day..

We need D.Sedin back.
I'm just saying.
Well they know how far along he is more than we do. I just don't want to take the risk of ruining his future for a series that has a 1% chance of winning.
The Sedins success come from the fact that they play together so he won't only be hurting his career but his brother's as well.
everyone is so hyped on Daniel practicing..
sitting down for lunch, i thought about this. Daniel could be there just to have a leadership presence in the room
I mean, no one did say if he was playing or not
only JOINING the team for full practice.
Im sure we will know tomorrow depending on what jersey he steps onto the rink in at practice
Obviously people are going to read into it as a sign of him playing. AV said he is following protocol and has been cleared for full practice so. The timing may be a bit weird, but who knows he may actually be feeling fine.
