Only retards predicted us sweeping the Kings. Probably the same people who blame Lu for every goal against
I can't speak for the others, but for me when I predict my home team or favourite fighter, it's always the "best case scenario". Maybe it's a bit stupid to be superstitious like that but oh well
It should be obvious by my comments through the last 4 months that in no fucken way did I expect a sweep..
the whole coho shit is getting old, seriously. the kid has had everything handed to him so far by his dad. he and his family couldnt handle that he actually had to put in time for top 6 minutes on this team. everyone else on the team has had to work for it. sedins started 3rd line, kesler 4th.. burrows from the echl etc.
if you are going to cry and complain to the coach and gm for more ice time when you are not even through your first full season you can gtfo. i dont understand why you people still cry about him, yea hes gonna be good but hes not a team player. a player with that attitude has no reason to be given more time on this team.

Like jayare mentioned, anyone who thought the Canucks would sweep doesn't know jackshit about hockey. For crying out loud, the Canucks played the Kings 4 times this season and the season series was 2-2 and you expect a sweep?
If that was your prediction, saying the Kings will win in 5--say it then, not some madeup bullshit "superstition" like the Canucks sweeping just to please people.
Anyone calling somebody's prediction retarded is retarded......There is no retarded prediction in the NHL playoffs, ESPECIALLY in this year's playoffs....If you think the Canucks can win in 7, then why is it so retarded to say that they can win in 4? Why is it much more retarded to suggest that the Canucks could be SLIGHTLY better than Kings 4 times in a row than 4 times out of 7?? It's not retarded at all...........

It's cool to have your opinion and choose why you think so and so will win, but I just find it hysterical SkinnyPupp picked the Canucks to sweep "JUST TO PLEASE CANUCKS FANS" and all of the sudden he says his original prediction was a Kings win in 5
Just man the fuck up, say it was a poor prediction and accept the fails. Backtracking and pussyfooting around it with excuses looks even more poorly than a poor prediction that, as bballguy explains, would be retarded for anybody to criticize after the fact.
Also, surprises me how seriously some members here take getting 'failed' to be. Looking petty and pathetic is worse than a few fails. At least the latter only exists online and is inconsequential in real life, the former is not.

Predictions are just guesses. But I would have to agree that some guesses are more educated than others.
Taking into consideration the facts of how they played against the kings this season, the decline in scoring in the last 20 games, and Daniel being injured, predicting a Canuck sweep is ridiculous.
Anyone who seriously predicted sweep is most likely based of their super love for the Canucks.

On one hand you have a team who completely dominated. On the other hand you have two equal teams where the decision could very will have been decided by a lucky bounce (ie. Vancouver-Chicago series last year).

I think we'll get them in 5 or 6 but that doesn't mean I think it CAN'T go to 7 games....I'm very aware that LA is a GREAT team, but I think we will be slighty better 4 times out of 5 or 6.

Right, so it's wrong to say that the lucky bounce goes to the Canucks in 4 games straight?? and you used the Vancouver-Chicago series from last year as an example...You realize that series was 3-0 for Canucks before the Hawks came to back to force game 7 right? So we were one lucky bounce away in game 4 from winning the series in 4 games...we didn't get it, and the series went to 7 games.............
