NHL needs to be more like the NFL with their player discipline and refereeing accountability, the NFL publicly reprimands their officials for horrible officiating and fines them, and all NFL officiating is part time. How NHL officials who can focus full time on their craft are so brutal is a mind fuck.

Since Torres is still in the game, what if he delivers another borderline bone crushing hit that results in an injury? That'll be quite something. Miscue from the refs for not getting the first call correct leading to another injury
